Megagame of the English Civil War

This covered the period at the start of the English Civil War. At that time we used a school as a venue which had three halls. So the map tables, one for each county, were spread over the three halls and that helped reproduce the localist nature of much of the struggle, If you were in Durham you didn’t concern yourself over much at what was happening in Hampshire if you had to go down to two flights of stairs to find out. It was otherwise a fairly wargame style design I’d do very differently now.
